Yatra From Delhi - Itinerary
Day 1
Delhi – Haridwar (210 Kms, 6 Hours approx) Arrive in Delhi, meet and greet with our representative and then drive to Haridwar, on arrival at Haridwar check-in hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. In the evening, we will take you Har-Ki-Pauri for Aarti darshan, after Aarti Darshan back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2
Haridwar – Barkot (205 Kms, 6 Hours approx) Morning, after breakfast check-out from the hotel and then drive to Barkot via Mussoorie. On arrival check-in Hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3
Barkot – Yamunotri- Barkot (42 Kms & 5 Kms Trek) Each side Early morning (4:00 AM) drive to Jankichatti (42 KMS), start 5 Kms trek from Janki Chatti to Yamunotri either by walk, doli or by horse at own cost. On arrival at Yamunotri, take bath in hot Jamunabai Kund then go for Temple darshan, after having Temple darshan you can also cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the hot kund. Pilgrims take this cooked rice back to home as “Prasad”. After this, back down to Jankichatti and then proceed to Barkot. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4
Barkot – Uttarkashi (95Kms, 4 Hours Approx) Morning (9:00 AM) after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Uttarkashi. On route visit Praketswar Mahadev. On arrival check-in the hotel, In evening we will visit the famous temple of Kashi –Viswnath at Uttarkashi and then back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5
Uttarkashi- Gangotri- Uttarkashi (100 Kms) each side Early morning (5:00 AM) drive to Gangotri. At Gangotri take a holy dip in the river Ganga, It’s also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Then go for Temple darshan, after temple darshan drive back to Uttarkashi for overnight stay.
Day 6
Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (223 Kms, 9 – 10 Hours Approx) Morning (7:00 AM) after breakfast check out from the hotel and then drive to Guptkashi via Tehri Dam. On arrival at Guptkashi check-in the hotel, in the evening we will visit the famous temple of Kashi –Vishwnath at Guptkashi. After temple darshan back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 7
Guptkashi – GauriKund- Kedarnath (35 Kms & 17 Kms trek) Early morning ( 5:00 AM) check-out from the hotel and drive to Gaurikund. From here, we will start a 17 Kms trek to Kedarnath. Either by walk, Doli or by horse at your own cost.
On arrival at Kedarnath, check-in into the Tent developed by Government ( This year too, Govt has not given permission to hotel owners in kedarnath to operate, Yatris staying at kedarnath will be provided TENTED ACCOMMODATION & FOOD BY GOVT FREE OF COST ).
In the evening visit Shankaracharya Samadhi behind the temple and take part in evening Aarti. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day 8
Kedarnath – Guptkashi (17 Kms Down Trek & 35 Kms 3 hrs by Road) Early morning (4:00 AM) go for temple darshan, after darshan back to Hotel. After breakfast, trek down to Gaurikund. Later drive to Guptkashi. On arrival check-in the Hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Kindly Note: There will be some changes in the itinerary if for some reasons those who are unable to get the early registration for visiting Kedarnath on day 07. The alternative programme for day 07 & day 08 would be as follows:
- Those who got the early registration to visit the Kedarnath by pony/Doli/walk (approx 17 Kms each way), have to start the trek early in the morning of day 07, so that you can come back day 08 afternoon.
- Those travelers who do not get the registration on day 07 morning they will enroll for kedarnath on day 07 evening and start journey early in the morning on day 08 by pony/Doli/walk (approx 17 Kms each way) so that you can come back on the same day by late evening.
Day 9
Guptkashi – Badrinath (190 kms / 9 Hours Approx) Morning ( 7:00 AM) after breakfast drive to Badrinath via Chopta. On arrival check-in the hotel. After a short break go for interesting sightseeing of Mana Village (the last village before the Tibetan border). Visit Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Charanpaduka, Bhim pul and the “Mukh” of the Saraswati river. After that back to the hotel, In the evening go for an aarti. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10
Badrinath – Srinagar (190 kms/8hr) Early morning ( 4:00 AM ) take bath in Taptkund it’s also called Suryakund. Then go for temple darshan, after having temple darshan back to Hotel. After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Srinagar. On arrival at Srinagar check-in Hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11
Srinagar – Rishikesh (100 kms/4hrs) Morning ( 9:00 AM ) after breakfast drive to Rishikesh. On arrival check-in Hotel at Rishikesh, take some rest and then go for sightseeing of Rishikesh city. Visit Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula,Raghunath temple and Geeta Bhavan. In the evening take part in aarti perfumed at Triveni Ghat. After aarti darshan back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 12
Rishikesh – Delhi (230 Kms, 7 Hours Approx) Morning ( 9:00 AM ) after breakfast drive back to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi, transfer to airport/railway station to catch the flight/train for onward destination
